These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Proofly, including the browser extension and associated web services (collectively, the "Service"). By using Proofly you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension and discontinue use.
Proofly is a bill-splitting tool. It captures purchase receipts from supported e-commerce websites and lets you generate shareable payment links so friends can pay their share. Proofly does not process payments — it facilitates UPI deep-links that open your preferred UPI app on your device.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Proofly. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using Proofly on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
Proofly is not a payment processor, bank, or financial institution. All payment transactions occur directly between users via third-party UPI apps (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM, etc.). Proofly has no liability for failed, disputed, or incorrect payments. Any disputes about payment amounts must be resolved directly between the parties involved.
Your privacy matters to us. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand what data we collect and how we use it. Receipt data is stored locally on your device by default and only uploaded to our servers when you create a split link.
All content, branding, and code in Proofly is owned by Proofly and its creators. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that Proofly will work on all websites, devices, or in all circumstances. Receipt extraction accuracy may vary depending on the merchant's checkout page structure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proofly and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost payments, incorrect splits, or data loss.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
